City Press Club and Stree Shakti Pehel Samiti celebrated women’s day by felicitating the women of faridabad

“I cannot tolerate any disrespect towards a daughter. For this, I can do anything, go to any extent,” said Renu Bhatia, Chairperson of the Haryana State Women’s Commission. She addressed the Women’s Power Honor Ceremony organized by the City Press Club Woman Corps and Women Power First Committee at the Red Cross Building in Sector 12.

At the event, Bhatia spoke passionately to the women in the packed auditorium, urging them not to cower before anyone and emphasizing the need to uphold dignity. Through various examples and experiences, she filled the women present with enthusiasm and inspired them to recognize their strength.

Praveen Joshi, Chairperson of the State Child Rights Protection Commission, present at the event, stated that without women, any family, society, or event remains incomplete. He highlighted the importance of respecting daughters, stating that households with daughters receive divine blessings.

Sushma Gupta, Vice President of Haryana Red Cross Society, remarked that women are making their mark in every field today, and society is supporting their progress. She stressed the need for mutual cooperation and solidarity in society.

Bijendra Bansal, President of the City Press Club and Senior Journalist, mentioned that women honored at the three highest positions in the state have inspired women’s power on the stage.

Yashvi Goyal, President of City Press Club Woman Corps, expressed her commitment to becoming a mirror of society, acknowledging the challenges they face and emphasizing the importance of recognizing rights and duties.

Poonam Sinhasinwar, Secretary of Women Power First Committee, shared that the organization runs skill centers at around 22 locations, providing training in sewing, stitching, cutting, and other skills to thousands of girls, motivating them to progress in life.

Kanchan Lakhani, making a name in the world through sports, was specially honored at the event. Additionally, various women working in different fields were recognized for their contributions.

Indian Red Cross Society Faridabad Secretary Bijendra Souront, Women Power First Committee Chairman Mukesh Dagar, Human Rights Mission Chairman Dr. Mahendra Sharma, Captive Member of Chandigarh High Court Bar Council Rajesh Khattana, and others extended greetings for Women’s Day and emphasized support in the future. The program witnessed a large number of women actively involved in media, education, social service, spirituality, law, and various other fields.
