Actor Mrunal Thakur, currently being loved for her romantic drama Hi Nanna, hates the term ‘you have arrived.’ Though the actor has been quite a discovery for a larger audience base thanks to her two Telugu outings, Mrunal wonders why is it that the Hindi filmmakers haven’t been able to cast her in more memorable, challenging parts despite her being in the industry for six years now.
After Sita Ramam in 2022, which marked her Telugu debut, Mrunal followed it up with Hi Nanna, the romantic drama which released last year. Co-starring Nani, the film put Mrunal in the spotlight as her tender performance stood out for many. But it is puzzling, the actor confesses, to see how Bollywood isn’t looking in the same direction as yet.
