The mutilated body of a state-level boxer was found on the railway tracks in the city on Saturday morning.
Krishna Kumar (17), who won bronze at the National School Games in Maharashtra, had left home on Friday evening, saying he would return in a while.
On Friday evening, he was watching videos on his phone. Around 7.30pm, he asked me to make fritters for him, but I offered to cook vegetables instead since he was on a diet. He left home after sometime and told us he would be back in an hour. We waited till 9.30pm, and called him on his cellphone after that. It kept ringing, but he did not answer the calls. After a while, calls to his phone met with the response that it was not reachable.
