Samantha Ruth Prabhu, who was on a hiatus from films due to her diagnosis of myositis, opened up on the physical challenges she faced while shooting for ‘Citadel’, in a recent episode of her podcast, ‘TAKE20’. She recounted a physically challenging shoot for ‘Citadel’ where she fainted during an action sequence due to fatigue and suffered a head concussion.
While talking to her close friend and health coach, Alkesh Sharotri, Samantha said, “I had to finish ‘Kushi’ and shoot for ‘Citadel’ which is extremely physical. There’s a lot of action involved. So it was very strenuous. Many, many calls were made to you in the middle of the shoot. ‘Alkesh, what to do? She’s having a spasm, she’s cramping’.
