Bigg Boss 17 winner Munawar Faruqui and 13 others were detained after a raid at a hookah bar in Mumbai’s Fort area, a police official said on Wednesday, adding that all the accused were later released as the sections slapped against them were bailable.
The raid was conduced by Mumbai Police’s Social Service branch at 10:30pm on Tuesday at a hookah parlour in Bora Bazar, the official further said, adding that the operation continued till 5am on Wednesday.
