The mood was quite upbeat in the BJP camp and party leaders and workers could be seen rejoicing each and every development taking place on Sunday, especially during and after the swearing-in ceremony amid chants of Jai Shri Ram inside and outside the Raj Bhavan, as well as outside the BJP’s office on Beer Chand Patel Path.
The flurry of activities and tight security near Raj Bhavan and the CM House in the morning indicated that something big was about to happen. And it started with CM Nitish Kumar first submitting his resignation, followed by rush of BJP legislators at his residence and Nitish again going to governor with the letters of support from BJP and its allies.
Ram Rajya has come in Bihar,” BJP workers clad in saffron stole near Raj Bhavan could be heard saying, the moment Nitish’s cavalcade came out after submitting his resignation.
Even party MLA Gyatri Devi repeated the same when asked by the media about development taking place on Sunday. “There is Ram Rajya in Bihar now,” she said.
