Over 150 flyers booked on a Pune-Delhi SpiceJet flight (SG8184) had a harrowing experience on Tuesday night as they were made to board the aircraft twice following reschedulings before it was cancelled because of bad weather in the national capital, reports Joy Sengupta.
The flight was scheduled to depart at 4.20pm. After disembarking the flyers for the second time, the airline announced that the flight had been cancelled because of bad weather and would fly to Delhi at 7.30am on Wednesday. Infuriated flyers sat on the airport’s tarmac.
Sujata Parashar, an author booked on the Spicejet’s Pune-Delhi flight cancelled on Tuesday night, said, “I got two text messages about the flight’s delay. One stated that it would fly at 8.40pm (instead of 4.20pm) and the other said it would leave at 9.35pm.
