Team India on Monday reclaimed the second spot in the latest ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 standings after securing a convincing 106-run victory over England in the second Test in Vizag.
The surprise defeat in the first Test in Hyderabad saw India slip to fifth spot in the WTC standings from the second position.
However, victory on Monday helped India jump back to the second spot, behind table toppers Australia. The win meant Rohit Sharma and co. levelled the 5-match series 1-1.
The victory also pushed their point percentage to 52.77 in the updated standings.
