Shahid Kapoor is all over the news of his latest release, Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya. The 43-year-old actor debuted in Bollywood in 2003 with Ishq Vishk. As most know, Shahid hails from Delhi. He had a desi accent that certainly didn’t work in his favor. Furthermore, industry insiders mistreated him since he had no backing or was not part of any camps.
Exposing the dark side of Bollywood in a conversation on Neha Dhupia‘s No Filter Neha, Shahid Kapoor revealed, “When I came into the industry, I realised this is also like a school. Bahar waale ko aasani se accept nahi karte ye log, inko bada problem hota hai ke tum aa kaise gaye ander. (They don’t accept anyone from outside easily. They have a problem that how you enter into the industry). So for many years you deal with that.”
