A love triangle took a deadly turn in Dumka when a school teacher shot dead two colleagues, including a woman, before turning the gun on himself and sustaining critical wounds on Tuesday.
The incident took place in the library of a government high school in Chatra village of Godda. The trio were in the 25-30 age group.
Police said while Ravi Ranjan has been admitted to the Godda sadar hospital in a critical condition, the two teachers he shot dead were identified as Adarsh Kumar Singh and Sujata Kumari.
According to police, Ravi entered the library room around 11.15 am where Adarsh and Sujata were sitting, closed the door and then opened fire at them before shooting himself in the head.
