Three minor siblings, out on a joyride on a two-wheeler during the wee hours of Sunday, met with an accident near the Red Fort area in North Delhi, killing two and leaving one critically injured, police said.
Cops suspect that the bike spun out of control and hit the divider. However, the possibility of a vehicle hitting the boys from behind was also being probed, a senior police officer said.
According to Manoj Meena, DCP (north), an information about the accident near Netaji Subhas Road was received around 1.53am. “A police team rushed to the spot and found three boys lying in a pool of blood besides the motorcycle in a mangled condition. They were rushed to the hospital where one of them was declared dead on arrival, while another passed away during treatment.
